Oncology Registered Nurse
This role provides specialized nursing care to individuals undergoing oncology treatment within an acute care setting.
The nurse is responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. The position emphasizes compassionate care, clinical excellence, and adherence to professional nursing standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving oncology-related treatments, including ongoing assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and interventions, identifying changes in condition and responding appropriately.
- Administer medications and therapies in accordance with established clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and supportive care needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the applicable state or jurisdiction.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider.
- Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $135,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
