Job Overview

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Address guest inquiries promptly, resolve issues professionally, and foster positive guest relations
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales revenue
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and billing accuracy
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/host duties, or hospitality roles is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous nightclub or food industry experience is a plus
