Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations with precision
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing tasks
- Assist with food preparation, kitchen support, or bussing as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding menu items and food prep support
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests confidently
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing accuracy, and transaction management
