Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, and bussing tables to support smooth restaurant operations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments swiftly
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring an enjoyable dining environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service flow during busy hours, including night shifts or nightclub events
• Adhere to all food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Server or in a similar food service role within a restaurant
• Familiarity with Toast POS system encouraged but not required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales performance
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
• Previous host/host experience or serving background is advantageous
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event nights such as nightclub evenings
