Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks as needed in support of kitchen staff
• Support host/host duties during busy periods by managing waiting lists and guest flow efficiently

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for better understanding of menu offerings and food prep processes
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery
• Basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling
• Previous host/host experience or nightclub serving background is advantageous

Pay: $16.50 - $25.00 per hour
