What You Bring
- Big-Picture Vision: Proven experience managing and scaling architecture across multiple cross-functional development teams.
- Technical Toolkit: Strong background in Azure, CI/CD tools like TeamCity, containerization tools like Docker, scripting, and build systems like CMake and Yocto, IaC tools like Ansible and Kotlin.
- Leadership Style: Collaborative, diplomatic, and highly adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Background Match: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, backed by solid individual contributor roots and supervisory experience. (Bonus points if your background includes embedded systems experience or time at companies like Foxconn, Rockwell, or GE!)
- Lead & Mentor: Manage performance, career growth, and daily goals for your tight-knit DevOps team.
- Drive the Roadmap: Design the strategy to scale development processes for a massive, multi-site global corporation.
- Bridge the Gaps: Act as a diplomatic liaison who can seamlessly communicate with stakeholders, developers, and solutions architects alike.
- Innovate & Automate: Implement out-of-the-box automation strategies using tools like TeamCity, Docker, Ansible, Kotlin, and Python.
- Secure & Monitor: Oversee CI/CD pipelines, ensure top-tier security compliance, and lead incident management and root-cause analysis.
