What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation QA position at New Resources Consulting?
We’re partnering with a tech-focused team that needs a seasoned QA Analyst who can jump into active projects and quickly add value. You’ll work across multiple integration and reporting efforts, build out automation, and help the team tighten up its overall testing approach.

What You’ll Do
- Work closely with product owners and developers to understand requirements and shape the test strategy.
- Create and maintain automated tests for both APIs and web UIs (tools like, SOAPUI, and Selenium are in play)
- Handle integration and regression testing, dig into failures, and drive defects to closure.
- Join design and story review sessions, flag risks early, and make sure quality is built in from the start.
- Contribute ideas to improve tooling, coverage, and QA processes over time.
- At least 5 years in QA, automation, or development roles.
- Solid API testing background, plus hands-on experience with automation frameworks; Selenium is a big plus.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating in cross-functional squads
- Confident with SQL, web tech basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and working with larger data sets.
- Clear communicator who can talk to both technical and business folk.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or Dynamics CRM is nice to have, not a must.
