CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

The Customer Service Specialists provide top-notch service by providing product, cost, and delivery information to our customers. Customer Service Specialists will also recommend products and services by discovering customers’ stated and unstated needs.
These positions will be located in Duncansville and are eligible for shift differential pay.
There are TWO available work schedules to choose from:
5 days a week 11:30am – 8:00pm
-OR-
4 days a week 9:30am – 8:00pm
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries, including phone, e-mail and chat interactions
- Process customer orders through computer systems
- Grow sales by making order level offers
- Provide basic product information to customers
- Quote prices and delivery information to customers
- Research and resolve order exceptions
- Ensure that customer expectations are exceeded on every contact with New Pig
- Adhere to New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service and sales experience highly preferred
- Ability to communicate in an outgoing, poised, and persuasive manner
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Keyboarding experience and familiarity with computer software systems
- Ability to deliver quality work on a consistent basis
- Ability to produce detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and repetitive work environment
