Group Leader (R.E.A.C.H Center)

Program Name: R.E.A.C.H Center

Works with the following population: Male and female adults, 18 years of age and older, with mental illness.

Days & Time: This position will work 40 hours a week. Monday through Friday. Most programs work from 8am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunchbreak.

Pay: $33,072 per year

Job Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Facilitating daily groups with individuals enrolled in day treatment on topics within the areas of "living, learning, social, ans work."
• Assisting with everyday living skills, independent living skills, and community integration.
• Documenting daily notes on progress in groups.
• Other duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma / GED with three (3) to five (5) years of experience in this field -OR- the completion of a Bachelor's degree in social science (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or a related discipline) and one (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals with mental health disorders and/or addictive diseases. Must have Bachelor's in above named fields to be MHC eligible (Mental Health Clinician).

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree and experience in working with individuals with mental disorders and/or addictive diseases.
