Duties
- Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards
- Serve meals to residents with friendly, attentive customer service, ensuring their dietary needs are met
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and food handling equipment through regular sanitation and cleaning routines
- Support food safety protocols by properly handling, storing, and distributing food items
- Help with kitchen organization, including stocking supplies and preparing ingredients for cooking or serving
- Follow all sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, serving, and sanitation practices
- Strong time management skills to efficiently coordinate meal service during busy mornings
- Experience with food production, cooking, or culinary tasks is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
