About the Role

The Chief of HCBS Services provides leadership and oversight for all Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) at New Hope. This includes:

• Hourly and Day Residential Services (Supported Community Living and Habilitation)

• Day Habilitation

• Employment Services

This executive-level role is responsible for ensuring excellence in service delivery, regulatory compliance, and ongoing program development, while driving a positive culture and high standards of quality across all community services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational oversight of all HCBS service lines

• Ensure compliance with Iowa HCBS regulations and standards

• Lead, mentor, and support program managers and teams

• Promote person-centered services and positive outcomes for individuals served

• Drive quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence

• Partner with executive leadership on organizational strategy and growth

• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and supportive team culture
• Demonstrated leadership experience in human services or a related field

• 5 years of experience in the Iowa HCBS system required

• Strong understanding of HCBS regulations, service delivery, and best practices

• Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive quality outcomes

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
