Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Daylight Caregivers to join our team, providing vital support to individuals with diverse needs during every other weekend shift. In this rewarding role, you will deliver personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. This is a part time every other weekend position.
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques
- Perform light cleaning duties to uphold a safe and hygienic environment within the care setting
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized care plans based on ongoing assessments and resident feedback
Skills
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable
- Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in behavior or health status promptly
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining strict confidentiality of resident information
