The Fisher Cats are seeking a hardworking, dependable, and self-driven individuals who are motivated to make Delta Dental Stadium the most entertaining experience in the Eastern League and uphold its fan-voted reputation as "Best Ballpark."
Job Summary:
Seasonal Security Guards support gameday and event operations at Delta Dental Stadium. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a summer role in a fast-paced professional sports environment. Security Guards play a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming atmosphere for fans, staff, and players. Strong verbal communication skills are essential, as this role requires frequent, clear, and professional interaction with guests, staff, and supervisors. A mandatory orientation day will be held prior to the season and will cover all required training, stadium policies, emergency procedures, and communication expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible security presence to ensure the safety of guests, staff, players, and visiting personnel
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with guests and staff, including providing directions and explaining stadium policies
- Screen guests using metal detection equipment in compliance with MiLB and NH Fisher Cats policies
- Inspect bags and prohibited items in accordance with stadium security procedures
- Control access points by verifying tickets, credentials, and authorization for restricted areas
- Actively observe and address disruptive behavior or violations of the alcohol management policy
- Use verbal de-escalation techniques when appropriate and notify supervisors or law enforcement as needed
- Respond promptly to medical incidents, emergencies, evacuations, or severe weather situations
- Accurately document incidents and submit reports per established procedures
- Comply with all MiLB and NH Fisher Cats policies, as well as applicable city, state, and federal laws
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous security, customer service, or event staff experience preferred but not required Strong verbal communication skills and a willingness to actively engage with guests
- Ability to remain attentive, professional, and engaged throughout each shift
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and navigate stairs
- Ability to respond quickly in dynamic situations
- Must pass a background check
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be available for a majority of home games during the season
Physical Demands:
- Schedule & Work Environment
- Shifts typically 4–6 hours, primarily evenings and weekends
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- A uniform shirt and hat will be provided
