What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content & PR Intern position at New Ground?
New Ground is hiring a paid Content & PR Intern to support the marketing and creative team with their growing portfolio. This role has a dual reporting line to the Founder and Senior Client Partner. While the Social & PR Intern will support various projects as needed, their primary focus will be on social media content ideation and production, calendar management and publishing, tracking industry trends, sourcing UGC creators, and coordinating seeding logistics.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Participate in brainstorms and support the team in developing engaging, platform-native social media concepts tailored to various client brands.
- Assist in the planning, creative setup, and execution of photoshoots, as well as basic post-production editing for social assets (e.g., cutting short-form video, formatting graphics).
- Help draft social copy, organize digital assets, schedule approved posts, and assist with the live posting of content across client social media platforms.
- Help pull data to analyze weekly and monthly client social performance, learning how to translate metrics into actionable insights.
- Support day-to-day community management by monitoring brand conversations, comments, and DMs under the guidance of the social team.
- Prospect UGC creators and content creators that align with client brand values to help organically grow the New Ground creator database.
- Support the physical and logistical side of product gifting to creators. This includes gathering inventory, packaging, shipping, tracking packages, and basic outreach.
Basic Qualifications
- Recently completed or working towards BA or BS or other school equivalent.
- 1 year experience working in social media and/or influencer marketing or ability to show deep understanding/immersion.

- Actively engaged in using social media platforms with a focus on Instagram and TikTok.
- Deep understanding of social media, content trends & influencer landscape across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.
- Strong creative and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Strong time management skills; ability to juggle priorities and multiple projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a small agency team.
