This position is responsible for overseeing 3-4 high-end residential remodeling projects, managing subcontractors, and executing high-quality construction projects on time and on budget while ensuring delighted customers.
*Carpentry skills are must for this position.
Responsibility
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and the internal team to ensure clear expectations and smooth project execution.
- Provide guidance, schedule, and manage the subcontractors, to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Utilize construction and carpentry experience to provide technical expertise and problem-solving skills throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project schedules, to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards, taking appropriate corrective actions as necessary.
- Proactively identify and address potential project risks, challenges, and conflicts, working collaboratively to find effective solutions.
- Foster positive and professional relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service, addressing concerns promptly, and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Continuously improve processes and workflows to enhance project efficiency, effectiveness, and client experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.

Experience
- 5 years of residential construction with demonstrated competence in carpentry skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
- Familiarity with materials, methods, and building codes utilized in residential construction.
- Ability to take accountability for project outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage clients' expectations.
- Proven/excellent leadership, organization, and team management abilities
- Ability to manage subcontractors and vendors.
- Ability to manage budget and time schedule commitments.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience.
- Good command of the English language (speak, read, and write), and excellent communication skills
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing project risks and conflicts
- Must be self-motivated and willing to follow a successful system.

- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project Management applications
