Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager / Lead Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time, hands-on role where you will manage multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction. You will lead all aspects of the construction process, from planning and scheduling to execution. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong leadership skills, and have a passion for high-end residential remodeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Manage carpentry tasks including rough and finish carpentry, framing, cabinet installations, and millwork.
• Use online project management systems to track project progress, document communications, and manage schedules.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, designers, and trade partners.
• Supervise and mentor carpenters and subcontractors on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
• Organize and manage material flow, inspections, and schedules.
• Coordinate with the Construction Manager to ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.
• Ensure that job sites are maintained in a clean, safe, and organized manner at all times.
• Follow all company protocols regarding job site conduct, customer property, and safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of remodeling experience with a focus on carpentry and project management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient with project management software (e.g., Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and teams.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and industry best practices.
