As the Special Education Teacher in a public-school setting, you will provide instructional leadership and guidance to paraeducators, manage individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborate with general education staff to facilitate inclusive practices, and engage families as active partners in each student’s success. This collaborative model is rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
What You’ll Do:
- Provide leadership and supervision for a middle school Partner Program classroom of up to 7 students with 1:1 support staff.
- Oversee special education case management and IEP implementation.
- Train, mentor, and coach paraeducators to ensure high-quality instruction.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion opportunities.
- Partner with school administrators and staff to maintain strong communication.
- Work closely with families to ensure consistent and supportive engagement.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred
- Licensed special educator
- ABA experience
- Strong leadership, teamwork, communication and observation skills
- Reliable transportation
