EDUCATION
- BSME or equivalent 5 years of work experience within a manufacturing environment
SKILLS
- Advanced knowledge of CAD such as NX.
- Lean Six Sigma training and experience desired.
- Understanding of Process Flow, PFMEA.
- Excellent understanding of GD&T and standard technical
- Computer skills (MS Office – Excel, Word)
- Strong customer service, organizational, and verbal skills
EXPERIENCE
- Three to five years of Manufacturing Engineer Experience
- Previous experience working with airfoil product preferred
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows of compressor blades, vanes, and other machined components
- Lead & Manage New Products Introduction – New part routing, Machining concept, and BOM
- Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures.
- Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
- Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.
- Communicates findings and proposals to upper management.
- Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
- Conducts risk assessments.
- Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
- Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Work with Quality Engineer to Manage MRB activities
Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent analytical and math skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
- Proficient with computer and information technology
- Knowledge of process engineering software systems
- Knowledge of multi-axis milling machine
- Knowledge of cutting tools
- Knowledge of materials and coating process is a plus
- Knowledge of Heat Treat and NDT processes
Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations

Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
