We are seeking a results-driven Business Banker to develop new client relationships while managing and growing an existing portfolio of business clients. This role is centered on delivering a best-in-class client experience by providing tailored financial solutions, driving loan and deposit growth, and maintaining strong credit discipline. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder with a strong understanding of business banking, capable of balancing sales performance with risk management while positioning themselves as a trusted advisor to their clients.
Job Requirements
- Manage and grow a portfolio of business clients through proactive relationship management and strategic prospecting
- Originate and structure C&I and CRE loans while generating core deposit relationships
- Meet and exceed established production, revenue, and portfolio growth goals
- Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering customized banking solutions aligned with client needs
- Maintain strong credit quality through sound underwriting and risk management practices
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and deepen client relationships to drive profitability
- Build and leverage referral networks and centers of influence to generate new business
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure a seamless and high-quality client experience
- Execute portfolio administration and maintain accurate client and credit documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business banking with a focus on C&I and/or CRE lending
- Strong credit training and understanding of risk management principles
- Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Experience generating both loans and deposits within a banking environment
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and ability to meet performance goals
