Position Overview
As a Home Health Aide, you’ll play a vital role in helping clients maintain independence, comfort, and dignity. You’ll provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with spinal cord injuries and other physical challenges — truly becoming part of their support system.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve simple, nutritious meals tailored to client preferences
- Provide medication reminders and monitor for changes in condition
- Observe, document, and report health or behavioral changes
- Encourage independence while supporting comfort and safety
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment through light housekeeping
- Engage clients in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities
- Transport clients to appointments, therapies, or community outings as needed
Qualifications
- Previous home care or community care experience preferred (but not required — we train the right person!)
- Experience with disabilities or mobility support is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude
- A genuine commitment to providing excellent, client-centered care
