Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Home Caregiver – Evening Shift
We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and patient caregiver to provide in-home support for an adult client.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
5:00 PM–11:00 PM
30 hours per week
Please Note: The client has a cat in the home, so applicants must be comfortable working around pets.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living and personal care
- Providing mobility and transfer assistance as needed
- Assisting with toileting and hygiene
- Meal preparation and assistance with meals
- Light housekeeping related to the client’s care
- Medication reminders
- Providing companionship and supervision
- Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment
- Following the client’s care plan and documenting services provided
- Communicating any changes or concerns to agency staff
Ideal Candidate:
- Reliable and punctual
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
- Comfortable working in a home with a cat
- Able to consistently work Monday–Friday from 5 PM–11 PM
- Good communication skills
- Prior PCA, CNA, home care, or caregiving experience preferred
