Requirements
Android/iOS Developer Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Some employers may consider equivalent experience or relevant certifications.
- Proven experience as an Android Developer, iOS Developer, or in mobile app development, typically 2-5 years.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development, and Swift and/or Objective-C for iOS development.
- Experience with mobile app development frameworks and libraries such as Android SDK, iOS SDK, Cocoa Touch, and third-party libraries.
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in mobile app development tools such as Android Studio and Xcode.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party APIs.
- Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, MVP).
- Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance optimization techniques specific to mobile platforms.
- Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks such as Flutter (Dart) or React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Ability to write unit tests and perform debugging and performance tuning for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with mobile app testing frameworks and tools.
- Experience with app deployment processes on Google Play Store (Android) and Apple App Store (iOS), including app submission and approval processes.
