Requirements
QA Analyst Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required. Some employers may consider equivalent work experience or relevant certifications.
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar role, typically 2-5 years.
- Experience in software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with testing methodologies such as functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and/or user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and scripting languages for test automation.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience in database testing.
- Ability to execute and validate test cases based on functional specifications and user stories.
- Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
