Inside Technical Sales

Job description:

Networks Connect is conducting a search on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturer's representative and distributor with a focus on developing specialized and custom fluid handling and heat transfer engineered solutions for heating, cooling, plumbing, and industrial processes and systems.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join their team. This role involves a diverse set of responsibilities, including order entry, submittals, equipment procurement, project management support, and collaboration with outside sales teams. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and possesses excellent communication skills to contribute to their continued success.

Responsibilities:

Order Entry and Processing:

• Accurately enter and process customer orders, ensuring timely and error-free transactions.
• Liaise with various departments to facilitate order fulfillment and resolve any issues that may arise.

Submittals:

• Prepare and submit documentation, including proposals, quotes, and specifications, to meet customer requirements.

Equipment Procurement:

• Manage the ordering process for equipment and materials, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Customer Service:

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing product information, and resolving any concerns or issues.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.

Collaboration with Outside Sales:

• Work closely with outside sales representatives to support their efforts, including lead generation, customer follow-ups, and order coordination.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inside sales, sales support, or a related role.
• Experience in a technical environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with project management concepts.
• Proficient in order entry systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
