About the Role
We are seeking a Lending Specialist to support commercial lending operations from loan approval through closing and servicing. The ideal candidate will have experience managing loan transactions, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring loans are processed accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate loan closings and manage the lending pipeline.
- Review loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Partner with lenders, relationship managers, legal teams, and operations to facilitate timely funding and booking.
- Support loan servicing activities, including payments, draws, and payoffs.
- Resolve issues and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure a high level of service throughout the lending process.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Lending Assistant, Loan Processor, or in a related lending role.
- Experience supporting commercial lending operations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with lending systems (nCino experience preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loan documentation.
- Experience with Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loan documentation.
- Banking or financial services industry experience.
