Entry-Level JAR Technician (Full-Time)
Pay: $13 - $15 per hour (based on experience)
Network Cabling Services (NCS) is hiring a full-time, entry-level JAR Technician to support our manufacturing and logistics operations. This is a great opportunity to learn hands-on cabling skills. No experience required — training provided.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing JAR deliveries, including packing, unpacking, labeling, and staging materials
- Verify shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies
- Learn to operate the cable cutting machine and provide backup support as needed
- Assist with cable measuring, cutting preparation, and material handling
- Learn to terminate copper RJ-45 connectors for patch cables according to quality standards
- Assist with manufacturing, assembly, and basic production tasks
- Support other JAR operations and production needs assigned
- Learn additional JAR manufacturing capabilities and processes over time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and quality guidelines
Qualifications
- Entry-level position: no prior experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Willingness to learn and work hands-on in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive motion
Schedule
- Full-time
- 8AM - 5PM Monday–Friday, day shift
