Construction Accountant

We are looking for someone with strong accounting skills, a great attitude and the desire to learn.  This is the perfect fit for someone with 1-3 years for accounting experience with a public accounting firm that is looking to make a change. 

This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, drafting monthly financial statements and working with our accounting team to process payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.  Additional responsibilities include improving integration of accounting, payroll and billing platforms, working with project managers to assess financial progress, preparing forecasts, and improving financial policies and procedures for the organization.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with tax compliance, payroll processing, and accounts payable/receivable
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Prior experience in the construction industry is highly desirable

• Compensation: $80,000-100,000/year additional incentives
