What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at R&R Home Improvement?
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, review, and maintain accounting records
· Balance and manage books using QuickBooks
· Process accounts payable (bills, material invoices, vendor payments)
· Create and send customer invoices
· Track project health, costs, and balances
· Assist with payroll calculations and run payroll through QuickBooks
· Develop and improve internal processes, documents, and workflows
· Prepare reports for management review
· Type and organize estimates provided by the office team
· Schedule client appointments and follow up on assigned tasks
· Answer phone calls and greet clients as needed
Qualifications
· Bilingual (Spanish & English) required – daily communication and meetings are conducted in Spanish
· Previous experience with QuickBooks preferred (training available for the right candidate)
· Strong computer, typing, and organizational skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
