Position Summary
Netta Architects is seeking a self-starter, talented, enthusiastic, and technically proficient Architectural Designer Draftsperson and will work closely with Project Architects and Project Managers to support all phases of production.
Project Types
· Governmental and Civil Facilities (courthouses, public safety, emergency services, institutional buildings)
· K-12 and Higher Education academic and administrative facilities
· Multi-Family Housing and Mixed-Use projects
· Commercial projects (retail, office, food service)
Key Responsibilities
· Architectural production work from schematic design through construction documents
· Assist Project Architects and Project Managers in coordinating drawing sets
· Support construction administration, including RFI’s and submittals
· Communicate design intent and technical information through drawings, sketches, and presentations
· Preparation of 3D image renderings for client presentations
· Work within established schedules, budgets and public procurement requirements
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
· Exceptional design and technical abilities.
· A collaborative, strong background in architectural production, spatial and environmental design ability, and quality design sensibility.
· Able to effectively convey information and ideas.
· Ability to generate and deliver effective presentations.
· Experience with Revit® 3D modeling, AutoCAD, and preparation of contract documents.
· Experience with rendering software for creating 3D images
· Sketching and freehand drawing skills and the ability to create quick sketches to convey/sell an idea.
· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required
