Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Enterprise AI & Applications Architect to lead the modernization of the enterprise digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bridge emerging technologies with business value by defining and driving the enterprise applications architecture roadmap. This role will focus on implementing Generative AI capabilities, enterprise application modernization, security architecture, automation, and integration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of Enterprise Generative AI tools and establish governance frameworks to ensure secure and compliant AI adoption.
- Design and maintain enterprise-wide application architecture across platforms such as Cloud technologies, Jamf, Intune, ServiceNow, Workday, Salesforce, and related systems.
- Support project intake processes by providing architectural guidance, solution design, and technical recommendations.
- Architect and oversee security initiatives including Mobile Device Management (MDM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
- Conduct application rationalization initiatives to reduce technical debt, eliminate redundant tools, and optimize software licensing costs.
- Design and implement workflow automation and enterprise integrations using iPaaS platforms such as Workato, Boomi, or similar tools.
- Provide technical leadership, establish enterprise standards, and collaborate with engineering and IT teams to ensure scalable and resilient solutions.
- Mentor technical teams and communicate architectural strategies effectively to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Required Experience & Skills
- 10 years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in a formal Enterprise Architecture role supporting large-scale SaaS and cloud environments.
- 2 years of hands-on experience implementing Generative AI solutions, AI agent platforms, and conversational AI workflows.
- Strong expertise in enterprise application architecture, cloud-native solutions, and multi-tier application environments.
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust security principles, endpoint management, and enterprise security frameworks.
- Experience with integration and automation platforms such as Workato, Boomi, or equivalent iPaaS technologies.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills including software vendor evaluations and Buy vs. Build assessments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level recommendations.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Preferred certifications include:
- TOGAF 9.x
- Salesforce Certified Architecture
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
- CISSP
- CISM
