Nurse Manager – Emergency Services (Emergency Department)
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Shift: Evenings | No Weekends
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager - Emergency Services to lead a busy Emergency Department. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, driving quality improvement initiatives, maintaining physician relationships, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise Emergency Department nursing operations and staff
- Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and departmental performance
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Drive process improvements and resolve operational and patient care issues
Qualifications:
- BSN required; Master's preferred
- Active RN license (Texas or Compact)
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months
- TNCC within 18 months
- ENPC or CEN within 18 months
- 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in Emergency Services
- Experience with staff management, budgeting, quality improvement, and physician relations
Compensation & Benefits:
- Permanent, direct-hire opportunity
- Starting pay: $51.17 /hour (based on experience)
- Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus
