Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and JCL.
- Perform IMS database administration tasks, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Design and implement batch processing solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, backup, and recovery processes for IMS databases.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop effective solutions.
- Monitor system performance and optimize mainframe applications for efficiency.
- Provide support for incident resolution and problem management.
- Document system configurations, workflows, and technical procedures.
- Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, and IMS DBA.
- Expertise in mainframe database administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of mainframe utilities and debugging tools.
- Ability to write and optimize complex JCL scripts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with IMS DC and CICS for transaction processing.
