What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop SOC team members through regular feedback, training, and career development.
- Manage schedules, staffing coverage, PTO requests, and daily work assignments.
- Monitor security ticket volume and ensure incidents are investigated, documented, and resolved appropriately.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex security events and operational issues. Coordinate response efforts involving clients, internal teams, and security vendors. Maintain SOC procedures, documentation, and operational standards.
- Stay current on cybersecurity threats and help translate industry developments into actionable guidance for the team.
- Experience in cybersecurity, security operations, incident response, or IT operations.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, team lead, or employee development experience.
- Knowledge of SIEM platforms, security monitoring, networking concepts, and incident response practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications or equivalent practical experience are a plus.
