Accounting & Finance Internship

NetGain Technologies is seeking an ambitious and motivated intern to join our Accounting and Finance team. As an Accounting & Finance Intern, you’ll play an active role in supporting key financial operations — from managing recurring accounting transactions to contributing to the monthly close process and financial analysis.

This is a paid, hybrid internship (a mix of remote and in-person work), requiring approximately 20 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Post and reconcile daily cash receipts to ensure accurate financial records
• Process accounts payable transactions with precision and timeliness
• Perform monthly bank, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP) reconciliations
• Partner with the CFO on margin, profitability, and performance analysis
• Contribute to the month-end close process and assist with financial reporting
• Support process improvement initiatives within the accounting function
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance financial visibility and efficiency

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong academic foundation in accounting principles and financial analysis
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Business Central accounting software is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to continuous learning
