GENERAL DESCRIPTION:


This position is responsible for the planning, organizing and implementing of all clinical activities for Netcare Corporation’s Miles House and CSU.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: 

  1. Provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for CSU and Miles House.
  1. Participates at the senior management level in overseeing clinical and operational compliance with local, state and federal regulations as part of the organization, and responds to escalated clinical and operational issues.
  1. Functionsin the role of primary community relations/education and liaison for crisis residential programs. Uses this role to maximize program censuses to the degree possible.
  1. Collaborates with all clinical directors to provide services to strengthen community relations, including educational programs and liaison duties.
  1. Provides on-call services as necessary, including program responsibility and Director on-call, as well as coverage for other directors as needed.
  1. Oversees department-wide data collection/analysis, reporting, and quality improvement under the direction of CEO; implements resultant needed changes as appropriate.
  1. Participates in internal and external meetings as needed.
  1. Provides timely documentation and reports of service program activities as requested.
  1. Participates in direct patient care activities as a targeted strategy for role modeling, information gathering or supervision.
  1. Manages departmental budget and resource allocation in tandem with fiscal department.
  1. Leads the design, reinforcement, and evaluation of clinical programming across both sites.
  1. Leads chart review processes and ensures documentation standards are met.
  1. Ensures both sites meet facility licensure and behavioral health standards in tandem with Environment, Health, and Safety Director.
  1. Oversees staff licensure tracking, CEU compliance, and internal training requirements in collaboration with HR.
  1. Develops and enforces policies aligned with licensing/accrediting body requirements(in tandem with Quality Improvement and Compliance Director), and takes the lead on all accreditation/certification/licensing efforts for both programs.
  1. Collaborates with HR for the oversight of all aspects of department employees (e.g., hiring, training, performance evaluation) throughout the duration of their employment.
  1. Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1. Extensive working knowledge of mental health and SUD diagnostic and treatment programs, and local community service agencies.
  1. Ability to consistently demonstrate an effective and efficient management style that elicits dedicated efforts from staff and provides for the well-being of the corporation.
  1. Ability to coordinate operations of Netcare’s residential programs with other, differently-structured Netcare programs.
  1. Collects evaluation data and works closely with QI Director, other clinical directors, and program managers to assess the data and provide feedback and continuous improvements to service programs.
  1. Ability to effectively manage multiple programs delivering crisis intervention services to mental health and SUD populations.
  1. Ability to monitor services delivery and implement corrective action.
  1. Ability to relate to clients and staff with a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds.
  1. Ability to communicate well enough to converse with clients or other employees effectively.
  1. Ability to operate a computer to record client data, produce written correspondence and reports.
  1. Ability to travel between service facilities.
  1. Ability to achieve and maintain certification in required training programs.
  1. Knowledge of the operation, staffing and supervision of residential services.
  1. Ability to ensure that services are in compliance with applicable federal, state and local standards.
  1. Demonstrated experience and/or training in behavioral health assessment and/or treatment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Master’s Degree in human services field and five years’ experience as stated above. Minimum LISW or LPCC. Mental health management experience required. Residential management experience and supervision endorsement preferred.

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
