Job Description: Req # 15625 - Materials Designer 3

- On-site role at WHQ; typical work hours, 4/1 hybrid schedule (will occasionally need to come in for meetings on Fridays)
- Role is for project support; extension likely, not guaranteed
- Degree preferred, not a hard requirement
- 5-7 years’ experience required in a materials design role (footwear experience heavily preferred; apparel and/or accessories could work)

Top must-have skills include the following:
- Adobe Illustrator expertise
- Basic understanding of material types (knits, wovens, synthetics, injections)
- Collaborative
- Expert in trends/trend research

Skills that would make a candidate stand out:
- 3D visualization tool experience (Adobe Substance, Vizcom)
- Passion for sport (soccer specifically)
- Expertise in make/manufacturing (not just digitally-based skillset)

- The work will consist of focusing on seasonal packs, partnering with color and graphic designers to build seasonal narratives and toolboxes for athletes, and more
- Will work with :10-12 on direct team; lots of cross functional work between product design, color, graphics, footwear developers, material development team, PLMs, and more
