Project Assurance / Scheduler

Responsible for providing independent assurance oversight and integrated scheduling support across a portfolio of capital projects, ensuring alignment with governance standards, project management processes, and stage-gate requirements from concept through completion. This role partners with project leadership, engineering, controls, construction, and operations teams to maintain project readiness, schedule integrity, and successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning, facilitation, and documentation of project assurance reviews to confirm deliverables are fit-for-purpose, traceable, audit-ready, and aligned with stage-gate requirements.
• Assess and communicate project readiness outcomes, including recommendations for progression, conditional approval, or remediation actions.
• Coordinate risk mitigation actions, track closure of action items, and verify completion through objective evidence.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules including logic, resource loading, baselines, and progress measurement.
• Lead monthly schedule updates, forecasts, critical path reviews, trend analysis, and reporting for project management teams.
• Interface with engineering, contractors, and stakeholders to identify schedule drivers, optimize execution plans, and validate reported progress.
• Incorporate risk analysis, contingency management, and mitigation strategies into project schedules using deterministic and probabilistic methods.
• Maintain scheduling databases, benchmarking data, closeout documentation, lessons learned, and schedule basis documentation for knowledge retention.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, project controls procedures, and scheduling best practices.

Principal Accountabilities

• Deliver accurate readiness assessments and stage-gate schedule packages for leadership review.
• Coordinate daily scheduling activities and contractor workload management.
• Provide reliable schedule controls, forecasting, and reporting to support effective project decision-making.
