Job Overview

The Joint SOF Operations & Plans SME provides senior-level expertise in joint SOF operations, planning, and crisis response in support of USSOCOM and Combatant Command missions.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Support joint SOF planning and crisis response operations.
• Integrate SOF capabilities into strategic and operational plans.
• Support exercises, readiness events, and battle staff activities.
• Advise leadership on operational design and contingency planning.
  
  

Requirements

Minimum Requirements/Education:

• 15 years SOF experience.
• Former O-5 /CW3 /E-9 .
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Joint/CCMD/USSOCOM HQ experience.
• Crisis response planning experience.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in J3/J5/J35/J37 environments.
• Background in TSOC or Joint Task Force operations.
  
  

Security Requirement

• Active Top-Secret Clearance
