Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its team in the downtown Los Angeles office. This position supports attorneys handling a range of toxic tort matters and offers hands-on involvement across all phases of the litigation lifecycle.
In this role, you will support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, including case preparation, discovery management, and trial readiness. You will maintain and monitor court deadlines, prepare and file documents through ECF, and conduct legal research using tools such as PACER and Westlaw. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, notices, and motions; organizing and managing deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries; and tracking document productions and discovery. You will also assist with deposition coordination, communicate with courts, outside counsel, clients, and experts, and contribute to case strategy meetings. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong litigation experience and the ability to independently manage case responsibilities from inception through trial. This individual demonstrates critical thinking, accountability, and a proactive approach to supporting attorneys while delivering high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.

- 5 years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm, including exposure to toxic tort, product liability, or complex litigation matters
- Experience with e-filing (ECF), PACER, Westlaw, and managing discovery and trial preparation
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred (relevant experience may be substituted)
