What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator- 2nd shift position at Nelson Global Products, Inc?
Setting up and running a variety of Paint Line Processes, Tube Bending Machines, Presses and ancillary operations.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Daily operation of tube bending equipment, press, lasers or robot operations
- The ability to perform all the following processes:
- Paint Line
- Cutstamp
- Deburr machine
- Saws- Eisele Sale and Band Saws
- Sizer
- Flat Bar
- Upright Presses
- Slotters
- Operate assigned machines to produce finished product in a final assembly
- Utilize hand tools, power tools and other special equipment within department
- Cleanings and inspecting of all parts
- Complete proper paperwork per station
- Keep work area safe and clean (5S- Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Utilize the common approach to continuous improvement
- Other jobs as assigned.
