What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wine Educator position at Nelson Connects?

Schedule: Friday–Sunday
Shifts: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
There may be occasional requests to work an additional day or adjust a scheduled day, depending on operational needs.

Start Date: Mid to late April
End Date: End of November


What you will be doing:

  • Sell wine, tours, culinary experiences, and merchandise; convert visitors into wine club members.
  • Greet guests, use names when known, and provide a luxury guest experience.
  • Support back-of-house tasks like washing and buffing glasses.
  • Participate in special events on- and off-site.
  • Conduct opening and closing procedures and follow winery policies.


What you bring:

  • Minimum 1 year hospitality sales experience; 2 years in luxury service preferred.
  • Must be 21 , organized, and able to multitask.
  • Knowledge of wine (WSET a plus) and proficient in MS Office.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand or sit for long periods.
  • RBS and Food Handlers Certification required.
