Financial Reporting SupervisorLocation: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid)You are a Financial Reporting Supervisor, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial reporting for the consolidated reporting of different Healthcare entities under the foundation. Reporting to the Finance (Reporting/Gift) Manager within the Controller’s Office, this role oversees complex financial reporting deliverables, provides consultative support to finance leadership, and drives process improvements and automation to enhance reporting timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.This position pays: $78.00 to $82.00 per hourWhat you will be doing:Oversee the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements across multiple entitiesManage quarterly EMMA filings, monthly financial reports, board materials, analyst surveys, and variance analysisSupport preparation of IRS Form 990 and nonprofit financial reporting requirementsEnsure financial reporting complies with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal policiesProvide consultative guidance to financial management on reporting issues and analysisIdentify, document, and resolve operational and reporting challenges proactivelyDevelop and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracyCollaborate with Finance and Technology teams to optimize reporting systems and toolsWhat you bring:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of progressive financial reporting experienceExperience with nonprofit accounting and IRS Form 990 preparation preferredStrong proficiency in advanced Excel; experience with Workday Financial and Workiva preferredSolid understanding of GAAP and complex, multi-entity financial reportingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detailCollaborative mindset with strong communication skills and a commitment to ethical standards and continuous improvementTo learn more about the workplace culture and the position, please apply!For over 50 years, Nelson Connects has empowered employers and job seekers to achieve their unique versions of success.
