Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Tax Counsel for a full-time, on-site role based in Sunrise, FL. The Senior Tax Counsel will be responsible for managing and providing advanced tax planning strategies, advising on complex tax law matters, and delivering expert tax advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and businesses. The role includes conducting in-depth tax research, providing innovative solutions to minimize tax liabilities, and representing clients in tax-related matters. The Senior Tax Counsel will also contribute to fostering long-term client relationships by ensuring exceptional service and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Tax Planning and Tax Advisory to deliver strategic, high-impact solutions for clients.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Tax Law and general legal principles related to taxation.
- Proficiency in Tax Compliance and Advisory services, offering guidance on minimizing tax liabilities.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Bar membership; LLM in Taxation is a plus.
- Proven experience in working with high-income individuals and businesses.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop lasting client relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative on-site environment.
