Role Description:
Neighbourgood, South Africa’s leading co-living and co-working business, is looking for a
dynamic and talented individual with excellent all round sales, hospitality and
communication skills to join our team with a hunger to convert leads on a daily basis.
As Leasing and Sales Broker, you'll be responsible for executing the sales strategy of
Neighbourgood with the ultimate objective of maximising revenue across the locations
you will be assigned to. As the “face” of Neighbourgood you will be required to uphold
stong levels of engagement in terms of customer service and relationship management
and guide clients through our leasing and sales process.
What You’ll Do/ Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management:
Manage listings and leads through the relevant property portals (Zillow, Furnished Finder,
Roomies.com, Zunder etc) through the allocated CRM system (currently Zoho and Zoho
Bookings).
Manage inquiries from various channels effectively and timeously to ensure customers
have quick and accurate information about the accommodation and spaces
Neighbourgood sells to its guests and tenants.
- Property Showings and Tours:
Arrange and conduct property viewings, ensuring comprehensive presentations of
properties and knowledge of the different property amenities and services. These
property tours will be done virtually and in person at the properties.
- Lease and Sales Process:
Guide clients through the leasing or sales process, from initial contact and
outreach to contract signing and hand over to the reservations or property
management/operations teams for check in preparation.
Facilitate negotiations and ensure compliance with all booking terms and
conditions.
- Relationship Management:
Foster positive relationships with clients, property owners, and industry contacts.
Address client needs and inquiries promptly, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Reporting and Documentation:
Provide daily brief sales activity reports, including lead responses, scheduled tours
or calls, and finalized leases.
Weekly: submit detailed sales reports highlighting deal values and lead sources
per property.
Monthly: summarize weekly performances throughout the month against
established sales targets and present a report on the opportunities for
improvement in the process or any tools required to execute the functions
required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
● Customer and hospitality service and/or sales experience is a must
● Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
● Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills
● Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-
awareness, work ethic, and empathy
● Passion and understanding for Neighbourgood’s mission and values
● Proficient in basic computer skills
● Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
HARD-SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
● Strong hospitality experience and an ability to sell ice to an Eskimo.
