About The Opportunity and Team
AI-powered search (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity) are reshaping how people discover, evaluate, and understand brands. Unlike traditional search channels, these platforms generate synthesized responses, introducing new challenges around brand visibility, accuracy, sentiment, and trust.
Within the Growth Marketing & Insights organization, our team strives to develop deep Category & Customer Insights, as well as measure Marketing Efficiency, operating at the intersection of analytics, experimentation, and strategy. We thrive in ambiguity, move quickly through learning loops, and build repeatable, AI-first measurement frameworks that inform growth decisions. You will move teams from intuition to evidence and help compose the organization’s overall AI Search approach.
What You’ll Do
Define and evolve measurement metrics & frameworks for brand presence performance in AI-powered search and answer engines.
Compose exploratory analyses and experiments to drive actions, translating insights into repeatable playbooks through ongoing iterations & feedback.
Develop proxies and heuristics to connect brand visibility and sentiment to business outcomes (e.g., MAU, LTV, GNARR) where direct attribution is not possible
Build scalable scorecards, dashboards, or other creative ways of visualization that enable self-serve access to performance
Set quarterly targets, monitor weekly performance, and deliver actionable insights to senior marketing leaders.
Translate complex findings into clear narratives that influence strategic decisions and the company-wide AI Search strategy and roadmap.
Partner deeply with PMM, GTM, SEO/GEO, Social, PR, and Media teams to align on success metrics, priorities, and tradeoffs.
What You'll Need to Succeed
6 - 10+ years of experience in growth data science, analytics, or applied experimentation
Passionate about AI, consumer trends, brand outcomes, and marketing-led growth
Strong analytical and statistical reasoning, with comfort working from imperfect or incomplete data
Experience crafting experiments or measurement frameworks without a clear ground truth
Strategic attitude with the ability to synthesize insights into action
Proven ability to operate in highly ambiguous, zero-to-one problem spaces as a self-starter
Strong communication and storytelling skills, influencing across a large, matrixed organization
Nice to Have
Experience with Search, SEO, recommender systems, or AI/ML-powered products
Background in NLP, sentiment analysis, or brand measurement
