Customer Service Representative

Major Food Distributor located in Hunts Point Cooperative Market in the Bronx is looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative. 

$20/per hour

• Manage high volume calls for Customer Service/Sales department
• Ability to multitask
• Meet daily and weekly sale calls and goals
• Monitor orders and proactively communicate delays, shortages or delivery changes
• Run daily reports
• Data entry
• Assist sales with entering orders
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment:

• Professional office environment
• Must be willing to work on Saturday and Sundays

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
• Six (6) months of Customer Service experience
• Bilingual (fluent in English & Spanish) a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills with great attention to detail

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• One (1) year of experience
• Experience with NCR eView, Extend Data

• Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
