Southeast Human Service Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Fargo, ND area.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant Within The Psychiatric Unit At The Human Service Center, You Will Deliver Outpatient Psychiatric CNA Services To Individuals With Mental Health And/or Addiction Diagnosis. Collaborate With Integrated Care Teams To Create And Carry Out Individualized Patient Care Plans. Provide Emergency Intervention To Patients In Crisis, Minimizing Mental, Emotional, Physical, And Behavioral Distress. Help Patients To Manage Their Illnesses And Live Meaningful, Productive, Fulfilling Lives. CNA Services Include But Are Not Limited To
To be considered for the Certified Nursing Assistant position, Requires a high school diploma or GED and an active Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA). Knowledge in Pharmacology is recommended.
This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
Location
This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position will provide services in the office and may need to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.

- Providing client-centered care for people who have a complex psychiatric history. Perform medication reconciliation and obtain vital signs when clients present for medication review appointments with Psychiatrist.
- Perform psychiatric assessment forms to clients during medication review appointments.
- The CNA provides client-centered care and assistance to assigned clients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Organizes and prioritizes tasks and projects; accurately completing job responsibilities within the specified time constraints.
- Adheres to ethical, regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
- Respects Client Rights and promotes customer satisfaction.
