Job Title: Travel Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Eureka, California
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a hospital-based assignment. This role involves assisting with a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Support procedures related to coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias
- Participate in diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures
- Assist with permanent pacemaker procedures
- Monitor patient condition and support the care team during procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety
- Document procedures accurately using electronic medical records
Schedule & Work Details:
- 4x10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- No weekend requirement
- On-call required
- No floating required
- Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- ARRT certification (required)
- Fluoroscopy permit (or proof of application at submission)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- RCIS not accepted
- Open to first-time travelers
