Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join a dynamic acute care hospital team. This role involves working in a high-volume cardiac catheterization lab, assisting with a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and equipment
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to clinical needs
- Operate imaging equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
Procedures Performed:
- Coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Permanent pacemaker placements
- Treatment of coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias
Workload:
- Average 8–12 cases per day
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- ARRT certification required
- Fluoroscopy Permit required (candidates with pending permits may be considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must be willing to take call
