Position Title: Travel Cardiology – Cath Lab TechLocation: Hyannis, MA 02601Assignment Length: 13 WeeksSchedule: 40 Hours per WeekShift: Day Shift – 8-Hour Rotations (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)Employment Type: Travel Contract OnlyPay Rate: $90 – $92 per hour (Traveler Only)Position Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist / Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong invasive cardiology experience and be proficient in assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This role requires maintaining high standards of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and technical excellence in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures (scrub, circulate, and monitor hemodynamics).Operate diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab equipment.Monitor and document hemodynamic parameters during procedures.Provide physical and emotional support to patients to ensure comfort and safety.Educate patients on procedures and address questions or concerns.Assist with patient transfers and positioning.Prepare sterile trays and maintain a sterile field.Assist with contrast media administration under physician supervision.Maintain inventory and ensure adequate supply levels.Perform routine safety checks and preventative maintenance of equipment.Participate in professional development and remain current with procedural advancements.Support Electrophysiology (EP) procedures as applicable.Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant Cath Lab environment.Perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsCandidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist IIAssociate’s degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology OR Associate’s degree plus 3 years of recent Cath Lab experienceCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsCompletion of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) courseRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certificationCardiovascular Invasive Specialist – EPMinimum 5 years recent EP experience OR two of the following: CI, VI, or RCIS certificationsCurrent BLS, ACLS, and IABP certificationsSpecial Procedures Tech IHigh School Diploma or GEDGraduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology programARRT Registered and Massachusetts Licensed Radiologic TechnologistBasic Arrhythmia course (within 12 months of hire)BLS, ACLS, and IABP certificationsSpecial Procedures Tech II / IIIMeets all Tech I requirementsRCIS, CI, or VI certification OR 3–5 years recent Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology experienceEP training completion (if applicable)Preferred SkillsExperience in Interventional Radiology (IR), endovascular, peripheral diagnostic/interventional, and non-vascular proceduresStrong knowledge of Cath Lab equipment and procedural workflowExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong patient care and critical thinking abilitiesFor more details contact at pmohanty@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-806-4227.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
